At Donvale Christian College we are very aware that we are preparing students for an exciting, yet challenging future enabling them to fulfil their calling of being ambassadors for God. The DCC community would like to congratulate Allysia Ng on being awarded DCC’s 2014 Dux. Allysia achieved an outstanding ATAR of 99.25!
We’d also like to congratulate Kelsey Haymes who achieved the perfect Study Score of 50 in Business Management.
We were really pleased with our results over all with 27% of students achieving an ATAR of 90+. This is the highest percentage in the College’s 40 year history.
Pre-start day will be held on Friday 30 January for ALL Year 7 students as well as NEW Year 8 - 12 students. Year 7 students will meet at the G block at 9:00 am. Morning tea and lunch will be provided and the day will finish at 3:00 pm. New Year 8 - 12 students will meet at the G block at 10:30 am to collect their computers. Parents must show photo ID and sign for the computer. Year 8 - 12 pre-start finishes at 1:00 pm. Students do not have to wear uniform on pre-start day.
We would like to wish every member of the DCC community a wonderful Christmas, full of God's blessing, and a happy, safe and refreshing holiday period! The College office will be closed from 18 December 2014 until 12 January 2015. School recommences for students on Monday 2 February. We look forward to seeing you then!

The community enjoyed a wonderful and inspiring evening at Thanksgiving 2014 as families had the opportunity to celebrate the year with our school community.
