Donvale Christian College Inc (trading as Donvale Christian College) is a company limited by guarantee with the purpose of providing Christian Education to Christian families who can demonstrate an active faith background. It has an organisation and accountability structure that has been developed and operated successfully for over 40 years.
Parents who have enrolled their children at DCC or people who have a commitment to Christian Education seek out membership of Donvale Christian College Inc. The membership elects the Board from those who have nominated to stand as a Board Member at the Annual General Meeting.
The Board is a governance Board that has prime responsibility for policy, finances and the property. The Board delegates the overall management of the College to the Principal.
To assist the Board to fulfil its mandate, the Board has established a number of standing committees and / or working parties. These are forums where detailed discussions are held and recommendations are formed and presented to the Board for their consideration and approval.
The chart below reflects the relationship between the College community, Donvale Christian College Members, the Board, The Working Parties, the Standing Committees and the Staff.
