After School Care Program - Kids Zone

An After-School Care Program runs each afternoon from 3:10pm - 6:00pm for Primary aged students. A qualified After-School Care Co-ordinator oversees Kids Zone @ Donvale Christian College.

This year Kids Zone will continue its high degree of structure. Each night there will be a focus activity for all students to be involved in, as well as a dedicated 45minute quiet time where all Year 3 to 6 students will be required to do their homework.

Our new Before School Care program commenced Term 3 this year for our Primary students. Primary students arriving before 8:00am will need to be signed into Kids Zone.

A Note From The Kids Zone Coordinator – Sarah Esselbrugge
Have you got an excess of toys at home and would like to get rid of them? Kids Zone is currently looking for donations of: lego, building blocks, puzzles, board games, dress-ups, dolls, matchbox cars, and even an old playstation (and appropriate games). If you have any of these items laying around your house and would like to donate them, please bring them to the Primary Music room before or after school.

Bookings
Permanent and casual places are available for every night of the week. Rates are:

Before School Care 7:00 – 8:20am:
First child in family – $8, second child – $5, third and subsequent children – $3
(Parents are to come to the room and sign their children in when they arrive in the morning)

After School Care 3:10 – 6:00pm:
First child in family – $11, second child – $8, third and subsequent children – $6
