FOD Triple Treat
Friends of Donvale are holding a 'Triple Treat' night open to DCC families. It's on Friday 19th March, 5:30-8pm. Put it in your diary!
The night will include:
- jumping castle
- basketball shootout
- BBQ & drinks available for puchase
- Donvale Dunkers basketball presentation at 7pm (Gym)
- second-hand uniform sale earlier in the day at 2:30pm

Secondary Science - Butterflies emerge
After watching caterpillars munch their way through much foliage and turn into quiet crysalis, secondary classes were fascinated to see butterflies carefully emerging and stretching their wings. Photos here in the gallery. |

Swimming Sports
Secondary House Swimming sports were held on Thurs 18 Feb at the Ringwood pools. The Houses put on a fantastic display of colour and comraderie, with creative chants and community spirit.
Many students took part in the races, contributing valuable points to their teams. The final tally was:
Flinders - 585 points - winners for 2010
Cook - 541 points
Hume - 527 points
Sturt - 432 points

| Bushfire Warnings - the new system |
|
As you are aware, since Black Saturday there has been a total review of the emergency warning system. The new and highest level is CODE RED (CATASTROPHIC).
In addition to this, there have been a number of districts that have been identified as ‘Bushfire - High Risk'.
Donvale Christian College is a school that has been identified as being in a Bushfire ‘High Risk' area and will therefore be closed on Code Red (Catastrophic) days." |
