Class Reps act as contact points both from the school into the parent group and from within the parent group back to the school. Essentially they help build community within the College. The reps will distribute emails or communications highlighting events coming up within the school, requests for assistance, or regular morning/afternoon teas. Contact emails are available throught the Parent Portal in the Parent Directory.

Friends of Donvale - About Us
Friends of Donvale Inc (FOD) is the community / fundraising arm of Donvale Christian College. In the past we were required to have an independent organisation to deal with fundraising due to restrictions to our funding. As a result FOD was created and, although those requirements are no longer needed, we have maintained the identity of FOD. Friends of Donvale is a registered Charity ABN 478771 40753.
Friends of Donvale adopts the Statement of Faith of Donvale Christian College according to the Memorandum of the Collage and the document Statement of Biblical Principles.
To engage the DCC community, bringing all families together, so we can collectively enhance the operation and support of our school and families in a Christ centered environment.
We are committed to :
Nurturing the spirit of the Community Prayerfully
Encouraging the Values of the Christian Family
Providing Care and Support Services
Supporting high quality education for our children
Our vision is to work together with the school community (who are parents of students currently studying at DCC and all staff employed by the College) to make light work for all, following Christ centered principles.
ALL DCC families are encouraged to partner together to provide outstanding support and services, assisting our children to reach their unique potential spiritually, academically, socially and physically.
How is FOD managed?
FOD is managed by a voluntary Committee of Management that also includes a representative from the School Board. The Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting .This Committee is responsible for overseeing all of the activities that are undertaken by FOD. The committee also has the typical portfolio such as Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer etc.
How can I be involved in FOD?
FOD needs volunteers at various levels. This can be from helping cook at a BBQ event, sorting second hand uniforms and books, helping at the Mothers Day and Fathers Days Stall or becoming a member of the Committee. If you could help us to continue enriching our community, by donating your time to these events (running a stall or cooking at a BBQ event), we'd love to welcome you!
What does FOD raise money for?
Throughout each year, Friends of Donvale run various events to help fund projects such as:
- Most Air conditioning throughout the school
